The Zoo

 Lena Mae and Mommy went to the zoo with her friend Camila and her mommy.

 Both girls took turns pulling and riding in the wagon.

 Lena got to see Dobby her birthday buddy the  baby giraffe who was also born on Feb. 28 2017.

Don't let Lena fool you with those open eyes... both girls fell asleep on the way home.

Just a Tuesday in Lafayette

 Lena Mae and Mommy started the day with a jog for mommy and a stroller ride for Lena around Lake Waneka.

 Then we went to a Jeff and Paige Kid's Concert in the town plaza put on by our town's library.

 Just rocking out!!

 After lunch and a nap we walked to the WOW Kids museum for "play, play" as Lena Mae calls it.

We finished the day at Odd 13 with yummy Ginger Pig Food Truck Dinner.

Happy 4th of JULY!!

 We started our 4th of July Celebrating at the Lafayette Great Adventure Water Park!!

 Then we went to The Post for some live bluegrass and local beer :)

When the fireworks finally started Lena refused her ear protection and sitting in her mama's lap. She wanted to sit independently on the blanket like the big kids and she stared at the fireworks so intently with awe and wonder.

Lena Mae's Guide to putting your Elmo to sleep...

When your Elmo is tired you pick him up and say, "k, K!"

 Then you give your Elmo his milk so he has full tummy.

 Next you need to read your Elmo a book.

 Then your Elmo will ask for ANOTHER book.

 Finally your Elmo will be ready for sleep but don't forget to put necklace on him so he can look nice even while he's dreaming...

North Carolina VACA 2018!

We took a trip to visit family in North Carolina, and Nana and Pap were gracious enough to let us stay in their beach condo for the week (again--don't know what we do that allows us to keep coming back...).

Lots of fun were had by cousins: hanging out at Nana and Pap's, the Museum of Natural Sciences, and pool + pizza party! Lena even got to meet her new baby cousin, Anthony!

We also got to see Grandma and Grandpa and finally meet a new buddy, Cav!
