Colleen's Birthday!

 We were happily accompanied by many friends for a Birthday Brunch for Colleen's Birthday.

It was a gorgeous 70 degrees and sunny! 

Then we finished the day by meeting baby Henry! Kalee and Jame's 3 week old baby!

Christmas in a small town

Our small town Christmas celebration weekend started with vising a neighboring town for the Light the Town Christmas Parade on Friday night!We met friends in Louisville for a happy hour and parade watching extravaganza.

Saturday we went to downtown Lafayette and met Santa for the first time!

Christmas Trees!!

The Friday after Thanksgiving we have a friends tradition of going Christmas Tree Hunting!! We go up to Winter Park CO (close to Granby where Colleen & Mark got married) and cut down trees. We search for small trees with 6 in or less circumference as part of the US Forest Service's tree thinning program. We always have fun and we have yet to be disappointed :) 

The Final Product!! The first of many years in which we hide our tree in the corner so Lena does not pull it on top of her!

9 Pictures for 9 Months!

Lena Mae is 9 months old! She crawls at the speed of lightning, pulls up on absolutely EVERYTHING, points to noses on faces, on stuffed animals, and in books, eats more, talks more, wiggles and shakes to songs! She is growing big and always happy :)

8 months old!

 Lena Mae is 8 months old! She is now crawling like she is on a mission, eating like there won't be a next meal, and laughing, smiling, and clapping!! Go Lena go!

 She is starting to pull herself up and stand on her own. And she loves bee-lining to munch on those month age stickers!
