1 Month Old!

Lena Mae is 1 month old and has already had an eventful first month of life! She has had visits from her Nana and Pap, Aunt Kelley, and Grandma! She has grown from her birth weight of 7lb 12oz to 9lb 2oz! Lena smiles at mommy and daddy and spends more time each day awake looking at them. She is adjusting to the challenges of human life including passing gas and burping which she is getting better at all the time. She has gotten to meet many of the members of her Colorado family too! Go Lena Mae go!

Boulder Imaging Baby

Daddy's co-worker Shelley had a beautiful quilt and bib made just for Lena with the Boulder Imaging company logo. She is officially a Boulder Imaging Baby!

3 Weeks Old!

Lena Mae is growing fast!

Grandma Jackie Comes to visit!

Lena Mae got to meet her Grandma last week. She celebrated St. Patrick's Day and enjoyed some time at home with us. Thank you Grandma for your love, support and help around the house!

St Patrick's Day!

Lena Mae's first holiday was St. Patrick's Day! She went to her first social outing at The Mooney's house and slept the entire time in the baby carrier. She wore her Irish green that Nana and Pap gave to her. Her Grandma was visiting and came to the party too! Slainte! 

 

Aunt Monkey

Mommy's sister Kelley aka Monkey came to visit after Nana and Pap left. She made delicious yummy food and helped with laundry and cleaning. She got Mommy and Lena Mae out of the house on several adventures. We visited 5 quilting stores and Aunt Monkey bought some beautiful fabric. Aunt Kelley taught mommy and daddy some helpful parenting tricks. We are so lucky she came to visit us!

Lena Mae LOVES her daddy! She spends hours staring at his face and smiling! 

 

Nana and Pap

Nana and Pap came to Colorado to meet baby Lena Mae. They got to spend an entire week with Mark and pregnant Colleen before Lena Mae arrived. They were present for her birth. They were very helpful with cooking, cleaning, grocery runs, good company, baby holding and more. Lena Mae is one lucky girl to be surrounded with so much love!

 

Splish Splash

Lena Mae had her first bath at home with Mom, Dad and Nana.

Once Lena Mae's umbilical cord fell off she could take a bath in the tub. 

 

Lena Mae's Arrival

Lena Mae was in no hurry to make her debut to the world. Colleen's labor had to be induced starting on Monday Feb 27th. Lena Mae finally made her arrival Tuesday February 28th at 9:02 pm. She was 7 lbs 12 oz and 19.5 inches long. Mom and baby were healthy with no major complications. Colleen and Mark are happy parents! Nana was present for the birth and brought love, support and calm to the process.

Days Before Arrival!

Just waiting on Lena Mae to come into the world! All of the preparations were complete weeks before her arrival.
