5 months!!

Lena Mae is 5 months old! She is rolling from her back to her front! She laughs at Daddy's tummy kisses, likes to sit up with a little help, has started trying to steal food from everyone's plate, likes to splash in the water, enjoys outward facing carrier walks, and babbles at every baby or child she meets! This little baby is on the move more than ever before. Go Lena Mae go!!

Happy Anniversary!

We took Lena Mae on a hike in the mountains outside of Nederland CO to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We hiked to a mountain homestead similar to where we got married. Then we had lunch in town!

Lena Mae and mommy were stuck inside for a gray rainy day. Lena spend the day putting her mouth on things.

Riser Cat is so brave

Riser was afraid of the squealing little baby we brought home from the hospital and she hid in the basement for at least 2 straight weeks. Now she is so brave and gets very close to Lena Mae. She even lets Lena pet her!

Happy 4th of July Y'all!

Lena and dad hung out for the 4th while mommy unfortunately had to work 🙁 but we got dressed up to celebrate our 'Murica Freedom Day!

Throwing a toy up and catching it is the FUNNIEST!

Lena just loved seeing dad throw one of her toys in the air and catching it. This was just too funny! I wonder what she'll do when she discovers he can juggle 3 balls at once!

Lena Mae loves doing her part for the environment by rocking the cloth diapers on the daily. Unfortunately these bulky diapers can impede all the moving and shaking a little baby needs to do, so we just take them off and play!

Lean Mae went to the swimming pool for the first time! She really seemed to like it! We hope to go again soon!!

Lena Mae woke Daddy up on Father's Day in a "Wild About Daddy" shirt and a tutu! Because little children need tutus and because, why not?

Daddy was a tutu skeptic before Lena was born, but now Lena Mae is here he's on board!!

This is from Mark's first father's day! We had a nice afternoon walking around to some local breweries in our Lafayette town! Lena loves every minute she gets to spend with her dad!
