A snuggly weekend!

Mommy didn't have to work so we had a very nice weekend all together as a family!

We missed the chance to get pictures but Lena also got to meet Katie's parents Lynn and Dyke Friday night. And we went to Jake and Lacey's house on Saturday and saw Dennis, Bobbie and Elias (2 yrs old). Elias was very happy to share and visit with baby Lena!

 Lena Mae and mommy went with some friends to a mega stroller exercise class at City Park in Denver. There were 260 mamas enrolled in the stroller class! As a group some of us bought tickets to the zoo.

Lena Mae was sleeping by the time we got to Dobby (the baby giraffe born on Feb 28th 2017) so we will have to go back soon!

A Boston Surprise!

 Uncle Nolan and Aunt Jackie came down form Boston to surprise Nana so we could all celebrate her birthday together as a family! In the picture above Lena Mae is petting her Uncle Nolan's head.

In addition to our time at the beach our family spent some time in central North Carolina visiting with family. We were extra lucky Aunt Deb and Uncle Steve came down from Ohio! I am so sad I missed the opportunity to get pictures with them. Lena loved playing with Aunt Deb and Uncle Steve and especially enjoyed babbling back and forth with Uncle Stevie!

We are so blessed to have such a loving family! We are so grateful we got to visit with Grandma & Grandpa, Nana & Pap, Aunt Kelley, Uncle Alex, Benjamin, Bridget Mae, Uncle Nolan, Aunt Jackie, Aunt Deb & Uncle Steve. We still have more family in the Carolinas we hope to see in the near future!

Beach baby!

 Our family had a fun vacation at Topsail Island in NC! We are so lucky Nana and Pap shared their beach house with us. Lena Mae loved the texture of the sand and wanted to put it all in her mouth. She giggled as the waves washed over her toes and loved the fresh sea air on her face. Lena loves to splash in the pool and float on the water. We cannot wait till the next time we get to go to the beach together!
