Fall Hike

Last week Lena and Mommy met some mamas on the move for a hike at Chautauqua Park in Boulder. After the hike we enjoyed a fancy lunch at the Chautauqua Dining Hall. They were very accommodating in seating a table for 12 mamas with 8 high chairs!!  Surely every server's worst nightmare ;)

On Sunday we went to a pumpkin patch with some baby friends! Despite 6 parents making funny faces, Lena and Camila insisted on looking down and playing with the hay. Henry did his best to look at the camera even with his Max (Where the Wild Things Are) costume sliding down his face. Maybe someday we will get all three of them looking at the camera :)

 Lena Mae has been slobbering all over mommy's water bottle for months, so she has finally gotten her very own bottle to chomp on. She doesn't actually drink much water, but it's currently her favorite toy :)

Lena's 3rd Trip to NC

Lena and mommy went to NC to participate in the Walk for Hope weekend. We got to spend time with lots of family and friends. Lena met Aunt Ellen and Uncle Don for the first time! We even got to go to cousin Benjamin's baseball game!

 Cousin Benjamin has been wanting Lena Mae to crawl through the tunnel every time we visit. This time he put a toy airplane in the middle of it, and Lena went inside a little bit. Maybe next visit she will crawl all the way through.

Walk for Hope!

TEAM MICHAEL CARPENTER walks again!! 

Lena Mae and mommy went back to NC to participate in the Walk for Hope in honor of Lena's Uncle Michael. As always there was an amazing turn out, and we were surrounded with love and support from all. Thank you to all who participated, donated, and sent us their love! 

Lena isn't big enough for the youth t-shirt yet, so Aunt Jacqueline got her a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt in the exact same color green!! It was perfect!! (Daddy is very excited to dress with her in matching Ninja Turtle apparel!)

7 months!

 Lena Mae is 7 months old! She is a very social baby with her peers, loves to watch big kids play and roll around with other babies. She is learning to wave and clap! Her favorite activity is songs and stories at the library. She is on the cusp of crawling and should be cruising any day now. She is eating solids! She has enjoyed everything she's tasted so far. We are having so much fun watching her grow!
